“A couple weeks after our baby’s birth, we noticed deformity in both of her ears. At first, we did not think much of this, but then family members started commenting on this as well. We wanted to try to fix the issue, especially for psychosocial well-being and to prevent body image issues as our baby got older. We reached out to three different plastic surgeons in our town and were told that our baby was too late to do any ear molding by the time we reached out at one month old. We were told that when our baby was kindergarten age, she could undergo reconstructive surgery. We of course did not like this answer and searched the internet and found EarBuddies splints. We decided to give them a try.

We had to have our baby wear them for a couple months, starting when she was 5.5 weeks old. One ear had both a Conchal Crus and a Rim Kink, so we treated both conditions at the same time in that ear. They were fiddly and difficult to work with, but not impossible, and we are so glad we went through the effort of utilizing them for a short term period because our baby’s results are amazing and her ears look truly perfect. We would highly recommend this product to others to correct ear deformity issues in a younger baby. Thank you again for helping us give our daughter normal ears.
