“We are very happy with the results. We started at 3.5 months, and used till 5.5 months with some gaps, but still so good results. First of all, I am so grateful to your company, you were the only option to fix my baby’s ear. Thank you for this product. When my daughter was born her ears looked normal to me, but after 1.5 months I noticed her ears started folding whenever she slept. And then her ears started coming out. When she was about 2 months I was so worried to see her ears out, it's in her genes her uncle has, and grandma also has ears outwards. I ordered them right away without asking anyone in my family. She was 3 months old at that time. As we live in Canada it takes 2 weeks to arrive - by the time it came, she was 3.5 months. We started our journey when she was 3.5 months old. Everything was well explained in instructions manual, so it was easy to put on. After one week we noticed she got a minor pressure mark, so we put barrier cream on her ears for couple of days and then again we put splints and taped it for another week. I was amazed to see results in just one week. Some of days we gave her break and kept open her ears for couple of days.

“We purchased EarBuddies in February 2024 and we are absolutely delighted with the results. As two doctors we had never previously heard of the Stahl's ear deformity. Soon after our daughter's birth her bilateral ear deformity came to our attention. Our ENT and GP friends had not heard of this presentation either. After a bit of Google searching we found the EarBuddies website and ordered our kit without delay. We were keen to start correction whilst she was as young as possible given how malleable the cartilage is in newborns. The transformation is remarkable and we are so pleased and relieved that we could help her in a non-invasive way. We have most likely prevented her growing up with a complex about her ears/her appearance. Given that the only form of correction later on in life is surgery, we are so pleased that we discovered this pain free and straightforward management option. A couple of negatives worth mentioning: the process can require an extra pair of hands as the splints can be quite fiddly especially to mould them into the right shape with a wriggly baby. Secondly, given how early we applied them, our baby was still under the care of the midwife/health visitor and they did write to our GP to inform them that we had splinted the baby's ears. I'm sure this was just them being attentive as it's not something they would have heard of or seen before, but it was a bit awkward explaining to various different healthcare professionals (who often have contact with the baby in those early days) why our baby had taped up ears. Regardless, we are eternally grateful and would do this again in a heartbeat if needed. The kits are quite pricey but well worth it given the outcomes. Thank you again.”

“I wanted to write in and express my huge gratitude for EarBuddies. My daughter Isadora was born with a conchal crus in her right ear. Despite my mother's instinct thinking that something was a little off, friends, family, midwives and health visitors all insisted that it was normal, and all our ears are unique. After emerging out of the first 3 weeks of the newborn haze, I spoke to a friend who’s a paediatrician who suggested EarBuddies as a non-surgical solution to remould her ear within 4 weeks. I felt that it was worth a shot given it seems so much more straightforward the earlier you start.

Given the conchal crus deformity is a little less common, and more complex to fit the splints, we enlisted the help of Mr Anooj Majithia (Consultant ENT Surgeon) who was fantastic in fitting the splint, and taping when she was 4 weeks old. We decided to go back to him after two weeks to reposition the splint and maximise the result that was obvious to us after just two weeks. Mr Majithia couldn’t have been nicer, and gave me full confidence that we were doing the best we could. It also took some of the pressure off me as a nervous first time parent!

“Our baby Ava was born with a very noticeable Stick-Out Ear on one side. Thinking that we were on top of things, we brought her to see an ENT at 8 weeks old. The doctor diagnosed it as constricted “cup” ear and told us it would get much worse over time. He also told us that it was too late to intervene because the cartilage had already hardened. I left feeling totally deflated and cried on the way home because he mentioned that we could just “come back for surgery when she turned 5 yrs old”. “This is Ezra. Since Ezra was born, he had a ‘floppy ear’ that he loved to fold over, especially when sleeping. We mentioned it to the medical providers at his initial well-child visit within the first week of life, but they weren’t concerned. His ear didn’t ‘get better’ - it kept sticking out. We tried using silicone tape to keep him from folding the ear, but the silicone tape squished and flattened the cartilage at the top of the ear. So, we again mentioned the concern to his pediatric team who then put in an ENT referral (when he was 4-weeks old). The ENT team rejected the referral, saying Ezra was now too old to consider splinting. So, I researched online to see if there were splinting options we could try on our own - and found EarBuddies. Ezra used EarBuddies from 4 to 7 weeks of age - we had to switch them out twice as they got wet with spit up, but otherwise didn’t have any issues and are very pleased with the result. Thank you!”

“My daughter was born with a conchal crus on one side and mild helical rim deformity (pointed on the side). I asked the pediatrician about the conchal crus (not knowing that’s what it was called) immediately after delivery and they said they thought her ears looked “fine”. I had no idea of the potential implications of this - that she may not be able to wear in-ear headphones or hearing aids if needed. I had no idea about splinting, and did not realize this was an option until I was trying to name her deformity around 2 months of age. I was disappointed that I did not order EarBuddies right away at birth since the whole process could have been done in about 2 weeks if started immediately. But it’s a challenging time and our priority at that stage of her life was just surviving!

On the one hand, my daughter was perfect and I didn’t care about her slightly different ear. On the other hand, with this limited window with which you can reshape cartilage painlessly, it felt silly NOT to try (for only about $90!) if there was even a chance she would one day feel self-conscious about her ear or have limitations in its function with headphones or hearing aids. We ordered EarBuddies when she was about 2.5 months old and received them right at 3 months due to an international shipping disruption. We started that day.

We changed the tapes right around 5 days and the shape of her helical rim had already changed dramatically. This was minor and aesthetic only but was really amazing to see and gave me hope that the conchal crus might resolve too. I so appreciate having this option. I appreciate the cost, the quality of the item, the ease of use, the ability to do this yourself, and the international shipping. I am an OBGYN and will share your product with any parent that asks about their child’s ears. It is so simple to use and can prevent much potential suffering. I am so amazed with this product. I only wish it were more widely known about.

Regarding conchal crus corrections specifically, I began molding tape into the shape of the conchal bowl (as described in the conchal crus tab at Step 5 of the Fitting Guide) and placed that molding on top of the EarBuddies molded into a heart shape. We did some trial and error and this worked best for us. While her ears are still a little unique, the shape of the conchal bowl on both sides is dramatically improved. I feel they are beautiful. This was well worth the effort. Thank you so much!”

“Matthew had perfectly normal looking ears at birth. Then at around 2 and a half months his right ear started to drift outwards. We didn't think much of it but as time went on his left ear started to drift too. I noticed this more than my husband and when I brought it to his attention he figured it was no big deal and just to leave it. Time went on and at 4 months the prominence of his ears got more obvious. I then discovered EarBuddies online. I asked my health visitor and midwife about it but none of them seemed to know what EarBuddies were. At 5 months after speaking again to my midwife, she suggested pinnaplasty surgery and said we should wait until our son was old enough to decide on his own. After doing research I decided to try EarBuddies first.

“My initial happiness turned into worry when I first met our first born baby boy at the operating table when I noticed that something was not right with his ears. “My son Boden was born with cryptotia, which means the upper part of his ears was tucked under the skin instead of sticking out like most people. After a lot of googling for a solution, we came across EarBuddies and I have never been more thankful. “My daughter Millie was born in Essex in the UK, with an extra fold of cartilage going through the middle of her left ear. It wasn’t concerning at first but after some research, I found it to be a Conchal Crus deformity of the ear, which could limit her ear canal and make her unable to use earphones. “I just wanted to say thank you to EarBuddies for this amazing creation. We started using EarBuddies when Tommy was 6 weeks old. “Our baby was breech the whole pregnancy, so when he came out with squashed ears it was inevitable. We thought like everyone that as Adam’s body adjusts to the outside world the ears will also settle. We saw that the ear protruded slightly (which we were not bothered by) and they started to curl forward. “During a long night feed, EarBuddies popped up on my Facebook, I had to wake my partner and show him immediately. After a few passing comments about our son's ears and noticing more and more he wasn’t ‘growing’ into them, it was a case of what have we got to lose? I ordered them immediately and fitted them the day after they arrived.

I found it easier to clip his hair before his bath and then fit his ear splints after his feed and whilst he was dosing. I always kept a close eye on his ears and as soon as I noticed any redness I removed immediately, sometimes prematurely. Any redness was always calmed with the Medihoney. I definitely recommend buying the additional strips as you do seem to use more than you think! Especially with additional changes. Although the Appeel Wipes were good I would recommend buying the spray, it made removal very easy and didn’t upset my son at all.

When my son was born, I noticed he had Stick-Out Ears that were getting worse as he got older. I spoke to the doctor who recommended to leave them and consider surgery when he was older. This seemed drastic so I researched alternatives and came across EarBuddies. I was worried that they would not work and I had left it too late because my son was already 8.5 months old when I fitted the EarBuddies. He was eating solids and drinking formula milk during the day, but was still having breast milk before breakfast and at bedtime.

It was definitely more of a challenge with an older baby than a younger one. The tapes didn’t cause any irritation, but there were occasions when he would manage to pull part of the tape off or even the entire splint. As his parents, my husband and I were very strict about it and refitted immediately. He wore the EarBuddies 24/7 for just over 5 months. Before splinting, his ears stuck out 2.5cm from his head. I removed the EarBuddies 2 months ago and his ears stabilised after a couple of days at 1.7cm from his head at the furthest point. They are now within the normal range and you wouldn’t notice his ears any more, which is what I wanted.

“I am so thrilled with the amazing transformation in our son’s ear. He was born with Conchal Crus in his left ear. The hospital pediatrician was the first to notice it, but did not have a name for it. Two pediatricians told us they weren’t sure what it was and that our son would just have a unique ear. Fitting them was easy once you got the hang of it after the first time. As my son was 3 months at the time the recommended time for splintage was 3 months. After the first two weeks of splintage, while changing the tapes, I could not believe how much the ears had moved in. They had both moved in a good 5 to 8 mm.

“I had surgery for my stick-out ears as a teenager. When C was born, her ears weren't sticking out yet but they looked like they might start, and they slowly did in her first few months. We started with EarBuddies when she was almost 6 months old. She has very sensitive skin so we had to take breaks between taping because the tape and tape removal would irritate her skin. “After welcoming my baby boy into the world it became apparent he had inherited my ears but only on one side. I have gone through corrective surgery twice on mine and still to this day I’m very self-conscious of them. Many family members said there was nothing wrong with his ear, calling it cute and saying I was being silly. “When Baby H was almost a month old I noticed that her left ear didn’t have a full fold, making it look like bat ears, while her right ear was normal. It kept bothering me for a while though I didn’t mention it to my doctor, but everyone assured me it would become normal in time. “Shortly after my son’s birth in September, we noticed that one of his ears was slightly folded over, resulting in a pointy appearance. We figured it was just a normal result of the birthing process, and that his ear would “round out” as he grew older. However, by the time he turned 6 weeks old his ear still had showed no signs of improvement, so we decided to take matters into our own hands and research if there were any solutions to help us. That’s when we came across EarBuddies (and we’re so glad we did!).

After reading more about their product and correctly identifying my son’s ear condition on their website (folded-over helical rim) we decided to begin his splinting treatment. “Emma was born with a rim kink in her left upper ear lobe. At first, I thought it was because she had her left hand against her face when she was born and it was pressing her ear. I thought it would pop out in a few days, but when I didn't see any changes after a few days, I started to get a bit worried that she will grow up with a permanent ear deformity. I started googling about ear deformities in newborns and came across EarBuddies. I was hesitant at first and part of me was still hoping that her ear would naturally be fixed, but when she was 2 weeks old and seeing no changes in her ear, I decided to order the kit and give it a try.

Her first fitting was at 3 weeks old. She was asleep in my arms as I fitted the splints and she remained surprisingly asleep the whole time. The tape started to come off after a week, so I took off everything and refitted her. I was very pleased then to see the improvement of her kink after just one week.

The tapes only lasted 7-9 days so I refitted her each time. I was hoping to be done with the fitting after 4 weeks, but at that point she still had a slight kink so I decided to refit her for another week. Getting the splint to the right shape to fix her kink was tricky since I couldn't quite get the splint to push out the kink in the corners of her ear. After another 10 days, I only saw a slight improvement so I was going to end the fitting. But after 2 and a half weeks without splints, I kept thinking about if I could give it another try to make any improvements. Since I had some tape left, I decided to use it up so I don't have any regrets. The tape stayed on for another 10 days, at which point it didn't really make much improvement but I was glad I gave it a last try. Her ear is not perfectly smooth compared to her other ear but much better. I'm very happy that I decided to try EarBuddies early and not wait any longer.”

“When Remy was born his ears were folded up at the bottom. The doctors told me they would ‘right’ themselves but as time went on and Remy was sleeping they were folding over and were getting worse. He has little ears but they were just growing like little cups! I researched what I could do for them and stumbled across EarBuddies. We started Remy’s ear journey at 6 months and 1 day old. We’ve had a rough ride with the tapes as they have made his ears sore on many occasions but we soldiered on and just extended his time that he had them on. “When our son Bronny was born, my husband Jake and I noticed his left ear was different. We noticed that he had extra cartilage in the inner part of the ear on the left side. We didn’t think much of it, we thought it would eventually correct itself. When Bronny was three months old, we started getting a little more serious about finding a solution when we noticed his ear was slightly getting worse, if anything. We called our pediatrician and he informed us that it was completely cosmetic and we did not have much to worry about because Bronny passed the hearing test with flying colors. He said that he would refer us to an ENT in town if we would like, otherwise, surgery in the future was the other option.

For my husband and I, we didn’t feel right just sitting on this and waiting for eventual surgery. My husband did countless hours of research and read numerous success stories on the EarBuddies. “When Yvette arrived into the world I wasn’t surprised to see her right ear was quite squashed as my midwife had been reporting that baby was engaged from 35 weeks and ‘very low’ for a few weeks before that. No one at the hospital including the paediatrician mentioned about her ear and having had a friend who’s baby had a slightly folded ear that straightened soon after birth, I wasn’t initially worried.

One week later the ear was still the same shape so I consulted a friend who is a GP for advice - we are fortunate enough to have private medical insurance which automatically applied to Yvette at birth so I was actually asking the best route for a quick referral. My friend said she had never seen it before but was a member of a forum for other doctor mums and interestingly in the last few weeks someone had posted with a similar scenario and was offered advice ranging from 'leave it, it’s cute', to 'have you tried EarBuddies?'

I immediately looked up EarBuddies and was quickly able to see that Yvette had quite a pronounced Stahl’s Bar. I read through the reviews and instructions, and quickly realised time was of the essence. After a quick chat, my husband and I decided to order there and then rather than worry about waiting for referrals or getting a GP appointment. While we didn’t mind at all what her ear looked like, we thought about 13 year old Yvette who might be bullied for having a Pixie/Spock ear and felt that if we had the opportunity to fix it now we should. We did also do some research into corrective surgery later in life (if we did decide to leave it just to see if it bothered her or she got bullied) and found that for Stahl’s Bar it’s not terribly successful, so this was another factor we considered.

The kit arrived the next day when Yvette was 8 days old and we had already bathed her in preparation. Fitment was really easy following the guide. I breastfed her while my husband applied the splint and tape. We decided that as I was breastfeeding she would probably need the splint on for around 2.5 weeks.

We tried to manage our expectations as Yvette’s ear did look worse than many of the other examples on the website. After a week and a half the tape was looking pretty dog-eared and tatty so we decided to remove it and reapply. We were stunned with the results! The ‘Bar’ was entirely gone and her ear looked normal. We really couldn’t believe how successful it had been in such a short space of time. After taking progress photos we reapplied the splint, this time putting more focus on rounding the shape of the ear. Again I breastfed while my husband applied the splint. She was more alert this time but quite happy having it done. A week later, Yvette not even 4 weeks old, we have taken off the splint and are so pleased with the result.

The ear is now more curved than after 1.5 weeks and looks perfect. We are so glad we just sorted this ourselves rather than wait and go down the referral route*. An inexpensive solution has offered a surgery-free alternative for our daughter which may save her years of bullying and torment in the future. We would definitely recommend this to others.

*Both our community midwife and health visitor said, coincidentally, someone else in the area's baby had just been born with the same affliction a couple of weeks before Yvette. For them it ran in the family so they were aware and raised it with the paediatrician at birth, and have since been given a referral. At 4 weeks old the health visitor said they had still been waiting for that referral to come.”

"My baby's name is Andrea and when she was born, she had perfect little, beautiful shaped ears. But I was afraid that she will have stick out ears in future as I have and her older sister has, because she inherited same ears as me. And as time past, this happened. "Our son, O, was born with stick out ears. It wasn't extreme, and we weren't sure whether to do anything about it, but when a family member shouted "Look at those!" when seeing him the first time over Skype, we decided that most other people must have been too shy to say anything.

We found EarBuddies online, and since O was still only three weeks old, we decided to try them while the wearing period was still short. We didn't even bother using the hat, and we were surprised at how little we were asked about his ears while splinted – with friends, doctors and anyone else, we usually brought it up ourselves if at all.

Splinting was fiddly but not too hard, and we found it best to do while breastfeeding. For us, each fix lasted about 10 days, and re-fixing the EarBuddies was pretty easy having done it before already. We did have to get extra tape to see out the full term, as breastfeeding meant it would take an extra 25%.

"Shortly after our son was born, we noticed that the rim of the left ear was folded and the lobe of the same ear was crinkled a bit too. Immediately we expressed this concern to our paediatrician and midwife but they said that is not a big deal and that it would go away on its own. "Even before the birth of my child, I was well aware of Mr David Gault and I knew about his development of EarBuddies. When little Zachary arrived, his ears seemed absolutely perfect, along with the rest of him. However, as the weeks passed, the tops of both ears started to protrude. I gently mentioned this to my wife, who, a little reluctantly, agreed with me. In a subsequent conversation with her, I mentioned EarBuddies, explained how they worked and described what we would have to do in order to correct our baby’s ears. Thankfully she, knowing my personal views on the matter, agreed to go ahead with the procedure.

At this point, we were due to go on a 2 ½ week holiday to my wife’s family in Eastern Europe. We decided to start with EarBuddies on our return to the UK, when Zachary would be 3.5 months old. In our experience, no one – strangers, friends, acquaintances or family – were openly critical of our use of EarBuddies. Some people were curious. Some were indifferent. Some supportive. I was so grateful of my wife’s support, as she was the one spending most of the time with Zachary. They went to places like the supermarket or his play group, where people were most likely to ask questions about the bandages (which are discrete and can easily be covered with a baby beanie).

In terms of fitting EarBuddies, the key for us was preparation and establishing routine. Early on a Sunday morning, we would gently remove the adhesive bandages. Shortly afterwards, he would get a bath, including a shampoo hair wash (which is not possible when the bandages are on). After a minimum of 90 minutes to dry (and some milk for Zachary), I would then apply the splints and bandages, while my wife held Zachary, who would enjoy cartoons on a TV. This process took up the best part of the morning every two weeks, and, in total, we performed seven applications of EarBuddies. I wish we had started the splinting while Zachary was a bit younger, perhaps before we went on holiday, as this would have reduced the number of applications. I am nevertheless so very happy with the results.

Living with abnormal/deformed ears causes significant life-changing psychological problems. I know this from first-hand experience of having protruding ears. It causes bullying in children and low self-confidence as an adult. An operation at 7 years old to pin them back failed. As did remedial operations at 13 years old and 23 years old. These procedures were financially costly, painful and, ultimately, disappointing. Close to giving up hope with respect to my ears, I came across Mr Gault during internet research. "Naturally when your baby is born you think they are perfect and when Polly was born obviously I thought she was the most perfect baby, but I knew from day one that she had, unfortunately, inherited my ears. I think I could even tell in her 4D scan. I had my ears pinned back at 22 and then needed revision surgery which was painful. "My little one was born with a Conchal Crus deformity, in which there is an abnormal fold of cartilage dividing the mid portion of the concha. "I wanted to leave a review to help other parents who may come across this product so they can make a more informed decision since the reviews were an important part of me deciding to purchase the product. I was lucky enough to have a healthy baby girl born without complications. We took her home a few days after her birth and cared for her like normal. No issues. One day when my daughter was a few weeks old a family member dropped in for a visit to see our baby. That’s when she said to me, “did you know your baby has an extra fold in her ear?” I did not notice this up until that point but she definitely did. New mom hormones kicked in and I immediately told my doctor about it.

They said that some babies can have ear deformities due to the way they are positioned in the womb. Although my paediatrician admitted they had never seen a child with an ear like hers, they said it would go away and not to worry about it. That answer didn’t sit well with me especially being a mother and wanting the best for my daughter no matter how silly the issue may seem to someone else. I did some reading on the internet which was very limited. Her ear looked very similar to those with conchal crus deformities. Although there wasn’t much information out there, everything I read stated it’s a cosmetic issue. It doesn’t seem to just go away like the doctor suggested. Also, it stated it was easiest to treat within the 1st few days and weeks of life since the ear cartilage is so soft as newborns and hardens with age. Eventually, if you do not do anything about it and did want it corrected in life later, you could have elective cosmetic surgery that is usually expensive and not covered by insurance.

After reading all this basic information I was not satisfied with my doctor’s response. I asked to see a plastic surgeon to get their opinion on it. Well that was a dead end! They didn’t schedule me for months and I could not contact anyone in the office to get seen sooner. I was worried that the longer you wait the harder it is to treat. Although I thought my daughter was perfect as her mother, I didn’t want to think about my baby girl growing into a teenager, noticing her ear and being insecure about it. Why not do something about it now instead of later risking insecurities? Especially if the only option later is surgery which sounds so extreme to me.

That is when I scoured the internet further and found the answer to all my problems. EarBuddies!! I looked at the site for hours and read all the information I could and other people’s experiences. I thought why not try them? They really were super inexpensive considering how much other options were and considering surgery later in life. After all, if it didn’t work out I could just stop and chalk it up to a failed experiment that was worth a try. It also made me nervous to think about doing it myself but there were very detailed instructions and I’m a healthcare practitioner. I can probably handle it. I ordered it and it shipped to me in reasonable time. I followed the instructions and applied them by the time she was about one month old. I got nervous and definitely changed them more frequently than instructed. I was afraid of skin breakdown. I splinted her for about 5 weeks total. Her ear was a little red during this process but no problems. There was some experimentation and adjustments needed of the EarBuddies as I went through each change to get it to fit and work better. Some people gave me weird looks and told me, “it’s just an ear!” But after that 5 weeks, she has a normal ear with no complications! My family members were surprised by our result and I was a proud mom who felt she did the right thing for her baby girl.

"When my Daughter was born at full term it looked as if her little ears had been folded up the entire time she was developing in utero. Her ears had mostly “unfolded” by the time we went to her one month checkup with the exception of her right helical rim. It had a kink in it that almost made it pointed, like an elf ear. We asked the pediatrician at her one month appointment if there was anything that can be done to put some curl into the rim of her ear and were told there’s a surgical option at around five years old. We even contacted an ENT specialist friend of ours who told us almost the same thing the pediatrician had, however he added that the ear is fairly pliable until about six months of age and to mold her ear as often as we can just by working it with our hands.

At that point we started researching, thinking it must be a fairly common thing and learned there are multiple ear deformities and hers was called Stahl's Bar or Stahl's Ear. So we started researching Stahl's Ear remedies. We found a couple of ear bracing options in the US - very costly, poorly designed, and poorly marketed products - so we kept looking until we found EarBuddies. Before you even buy you can see that EarBuddies is made to correct several different types of ear deformities and malformations, it looked easy to use and the directions are on the website, the product did not require a doctor or specialist to place the splints, and the purchase price was extremely reasonable.

We ordered a kit and placed the splint when our Daughter was about nine weeks old. We followed the directions and changed the tapes every two weeks, cleaning her ear and letting it breathe for about a day before replacing the splint and tapes. She wore the splint a total of eight weeks. You could definitely tell a difference in how her ear was holding the new, normal shape each time we changed the tapes.

"When Hannah was born in January 2019, we noticed straight away that one of her ears didn’t have much internal structure, was slightly lower than the other and stuck out quite a bit. "We realised our Daughter Alejandra's ears were pointing out when she was about a month old. "Our gorgeous daughter was born in December 2018. By a couple of months old we noticed that her ears had started to protrude and were continuing to grow outwards. What worried us most was that they would fold over on themselves when she was feeding, moving her head when lying down, or when we put her into the car seat. "We noticed very early after he was born that his ears were not only a little misshapen [Folded-Over Helical Rim] but they also looked like two different ears. At his two week appointment with his Pediatrician, I asked her if there was anything that we could do to help correct his ear shape. She told us that we only had two options. One, we could leave them alone and see if their shape changes as he gets older. Two, we could wait until he was a few years old and if we still were concerned about their shape we could look into getting him corrective surgery. We just did not accept this as an answer.

We thought that surely there was something that we could do...long story short, I went on the internet and did a ton of research. "My daughter was born in January 2019 and immediately her ears would fold over when holding her, creating a point in the ear and also causing the natural crease in the ear to almost disappear [antihelix not properly formed]. "Our son's name is Connor Spears and we are from Dayton, OH. Our son's ear was completely folded (like a taco) when he was born which caused the ear to not develop normally by the fold in his ear being shaped upward. We were told it would straighten itself out by the time we left the hospital. As you can see it did not do that.

"Hi. I wanted to put forward our story for ear of the month as we are over the moon with the results and wanted to share our success. When our daughter was born in January 2019, we noticed straight away that one of her ears was folded and a different shape from the other ear. Despite assurances the ear would correct itself from midwives it remained a different shape and very pointy and sticking out. My partner had suffered with bullying and a painful surgery due to problems with his ears being prominent which I did not want my daughter to experience.

After some research I came across EarBuddies and booked at appointment to see Mr Gault at his clinic on Great Portland Street when Penelope was 2 and a half weeks old. Immediately Mr Gault could see there was an issue that would not correct itself.

He fitted the EarBuddies and immediately managed to shape the ear to a normal shape. We felt very reassured by Mr Gault who said we would have a full cure to her problem within a few weeks. Straight away we could see a difference in the ear shape as soon as the ear buddy was fitted. She was not phased or bothered at all by the ear buddy being fitted or when worn. We found the ear buddy easy to fit at home. She now has a normal ear and we couldn’t be happier for her. Although she was perfect to us and we wouldn’t change her, I couldn't deprive her of an opportunity for her ear to be corrected so easily and quickly without the need for surgery or pain.

This is such a great product and I really strongly believe it should be more widely publicised by midwives and doctors if a deformity is spotted at birth. I would really like to extend my thanks to Mr Gault for such great results. I think there should be so much more awareness of this product as it is such a low cost, pain free way to easily and quickly solve issues with babies ears."

"We did to our son when he turned 6 months, his ear cartilage had not hardened in utero so when he was born his ears were perfect but we started to notice they were unraveling and starting to droop. Wish I knew about them sooner cause would have worked even better if had on longer and if started earlier but he was aware of them after not quite three months so had to stop. Worked amazingly though for the small time we had them on him and made a huge difference!!! Highly recommend EarBuddies!! So much better and cheaper and SAFER than plastic surgery!!"

"Our son was born on December 20, 2018. I noticed that his ears looked different to mine and his Father's. I began to do some research online and discovered that he had Stahl’s Ear affecting both of his ears. "Our little boy Alessandro was born in March 2018 and, after about three months, we noticed that his ears had started to drift further and further out. By the time he was 5 months, they were noticeably protruding and we found that they would fold over on themselves when we were holding him in a cradle position, putting a hat on him or putting him into his car seat.

Although our son is the most beautiful thing in the world to us, we were both conscious of the possibility of him being teased for having 'stick out ears'. I had a prominent squint as a child and know first hand how an aesthetic problem can impact on self-esteem and lead to bullying. So we were intrigued when my sister (a GP) told us that she had read about a way of bringing Alessandro's ears back in without the need for surgery.

After doing our research and going through lots of parent testimonials on the EarBuddies website we decided to the plunge and we are so glad we did! As you can see from the before and after progress photos attached, the splints have made a huge difference to Alessandro's ears.

Although we were initially worried that he might be too old for the splints to be effective, we've found the results really impressive. We've even managed to keep up splinting while Alessandro went through teething (and the ear pulling that goes with it!). Although we had a few occasions on which he ripped the tapes off in his sleep, with a little perseverance and taking our time we've manage to stick at it and achieve brilliant results.

Now Alessandro has finished his EarBuddies journey, his ears are looking fantastic. We’ve had so many positive comments about what a huge difference it’s made and couldn’t be more pleased. To any parents who aren’t sure yet, we’d say do take the plunge - even with an older baby it doesn’t take long to master applying and removing the splints and the results are great. Alessandro hasn’t been in pain or bothered at all by the splints and we think he’ll be very happy with the look of his ears in the future. Thank you EarBuddies!"

"We only found out about EarBuddies through researching cosmetic ear surgery due to our baby having a prominent ear. Upon researching, we came across the EarBuddies website. We looked up reviews and decided we would give it a go. Our little boy was already 8 months old, therefore through reading the website we were prepared to have the EarBuddies in for at least 4 months before we would notice any change.

Day 1, I was a little anxious about getting out the baby clippers to clip away the hair around our sons ear however it was manageable. We bathed him and followed the instructions given in the kit. A fairly simple process. I was concerned that as soon as the splint was in and the ear taped back he would pull at it, but he didn't notice it in the slightest.

Day 12, due to our son being quite a sweaty baby the tape had lifted therefore it was time to remove and start again. This was quite tricky and we found his head, behind the ear was a little red so we cleaned the area, applied the cream as directed and left it for 4 days before starting again. However, we could already see the difference in the ear from when we had begun using the EarBuddies 2 weeks ago.

Day 17, we reapplied the splint and taped back the ear again. Our son was not bothered by it at all. Obviously, throughout this whole period people were constantly asking us what was wrong with his ear and when we explained what it was and what it was doing, people looked confused or gave a look as though it would never work.

Day 30 came along and it was time to refresh the tape. We removed the plasters and splint to clean the ear and were completely surprised to see how well the EarBuddies had continued to work. Looking back at the before picture and the post 2 weeks picture we were absolutely amazed! We decided from here we were happy with the result so chose to end the EarBuddies treatment there. Our son was only breast fed up until he was 4 weeks old, and he has been formula fed since. We also began weaning at 4 months so he was pretty much fully fledged on solids when we began using the EarBuddies.

I would highly recommend this product. It needs to be marketed more across mothers / mothers-to-be websites, magazines, groups and social media. I wish I had known about EarBuddies when our son was born however our son had the EarBuddy in for less than 30 days in total from 8 months old and we are extremely happy with the outcome. I couldn't rate EarBuddies highly enough! Thank you. I will forever be promoting your amazing product!"

"Rivi had ears that were out of shape when he was born (Folded-Over Helical Rim). His older brother never had problems but as a precaution, we thought we’d give EarBuddies a try. They were easy to put on and stayed on well, if you follow the instructions. We took them off sometimes to clean the ears, and then put them back on after, say, a bath etc.
